For my advertising essay, I would need to manipulate it so it is suitable for other forms of media. To upload my essay to Twitter, I will need to shorten the length of the document as Twitter has a character limit of 240 characters. I will need to meet this criteria by shortening down my essay to its key points so that I meet the criteria for it to be uploaded to Twitter.
To make my essay suitable for Instagram, I would need to take screenshots of my essay so I can upload it to Instagram. Instagram is all about uploading pictures to your profile with captions and other people can like and comment on your photo. Screenshots are a way for me to share my essay on multiple forms of social media in different forms such as text and screenshots.
Another form of social media that I can use is Facebook, Facebook allows people to upload photo’s and status’s to their profiles. There isn’t a character limit for Facebook so I will be able to upload the whole of my essay as a whole in its original form without any change. I can also upload the essay in screenshots if I wished. Facebook overall gives me a lot of freedom to upload my essay in different forms which makes it great for me to upload my essay to this social media site.
For Snapchat, I can upload screenshots of my essay to this social media. Snapchat is all about sending pictures (known as snaps) to your friends. You can upload snaps to your story where all of your friends can see it. I would take screenshots of my essay and upload them to my story.
Finally I can upload my essay to youtube by changing my essay into a video format where I speak to the camera. Youtube is also a very large platform used by many people worldwide so A lot of people will be able to see the video. A video form would work better than just a written piece as I would be able to keep the viewers attention if I made my essay into a video format.
