Vlogging Workshop
What social media platforms will I use to connect with my audience?
- Snapchat
I will use these social media platforms to get a bigger audience seeing my vlog through people being able to share the vlog around on social media.
YouTube is the primary platform for my vlog as it will be uploaded here and then shared around across multiple platforms.
What is my first Vlog content going to contain?
My channel is going to be about wrestling, I am going to talking about what is happening in the world of Wrestling and what I like and dislike what is happening at the time. My first video for my channel will be a prediction for wrestle mania and what I want to happen in the future.
- Introduction- My intro with my name “Mike Kelleher” will pop up in animation.
- Sub Plot- I will talk about how close it is to wrestle mania and will talk about eventful things that have happened along the way.
- Main Plot- I will then begin to talk about my predictions for the match card and will talk about who I think will win each match and give my point why.
- Recap- I will shorten down what I have said into the key points that I made in the vlog so people can digest what I have said.
- Ending- I will then thank people for watching and will tell them to stay tuned for the next video.
There are many vloggers that create content based around wrestling the biggest is What culture Wrestling who have over 1 million subscribers on
Evaluation:
YouTube other vloggers include Cultaholic and Wrestle talk. This research that shows that there is a big following on YouTube so I have a large potential audience that will watch my vlogs worldwide. They are effective as they branch out multi platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. They use these social medias to gather in a a larger audience and so viewers can interact with each other. Vlogs are a great thing becuase they allow a visual form of entertainment for their audience and are sometimes more casual and laid back.
