VR workshop

My thoughts on VR:

During my experience with VR I thought it was fun and interesting, however it was too bright for my eyes causing me to have a headache straight afterwards – anya.

Throughout my experience of using the VR headset, I felt amused because I had never seen anything like it in my life. I wanted to spend quite a lot of time on it, so I could see all of the different elements. I think it can cause some negative effects with the colours but overall I felt like it was good. – Callum

My experience with using a VR headset, was amazing and I felt like I was in control of my own world. Although, it was cool I could still see the floor when looking down. – Lewis

During my time with VR, I found it very cool as it felt like you were really there and I felt immersed in the Virtual world. However, after a few minutes, my eyes began to hurt so I couldn’t spend that long in VR. – Mike

I think that companies would benefit from the use of VR for multiple reasons, firstly, I think that companies would benefit from the use of virtual reality as certain companies can play out scenarios regarding their type of work that they do on a daily basis. For example, doctors in training may need to practise in a typical situation that they might be in so VR can help them with the training part of their job such as performing medical exams in VR.

Construction companies may need to plan out something before building that certain building so VR can help with the planning stages for their job. VR is also the most efficient way of planning out something as you can get a 3D look on your surroundings.

Artists may also find VR helpful as apart of their job as they can create new pieces of art in a virtual world where anything can happen, so the possibilities are endless.

Also companies can use VR to advertise by placing adverts in their VR games.
