11th March- We were given the brief for the Final Major project after some thinking I decided to create a documentary on popularity of Wrestling and why it is so popular world wide.
28th March- After some thinking, I decided to change what I would be doing for my Final Major Project. I decided to now do photography of racing. I decided to change because it was very hard to get ahold of somebody to interview for my documentary. This change was for the better as I now how more confidence in my Final Major Project. I also created a survey today on SurveyMonkey to get an idea on what people think about racing photography.
9th April- Today I Completed some more of my research, I finished my Market and audience research. This would involve researching the potential market for my project idea and seeing what target audience I am trying to appeal to.
27th April- I decided to change my location shoot from Silverstone race track to Donnington park race track, this is because Donnington park is a lot easier for me to shoot at and gives me a lot more shots to work with as a beginner.
30th April- Today I worked on my shot and equipment list and then I browsed through my photographs that I had taken to get a rough idea of what photo’s I would use for my final piece. Today I also picked out the 20 best photos that I could use for my FMP, I can now work on narrowing this selection down to 8.
9th May- Today I edited the photos that I selected and put them into a powerpoint, ready to present to my teachers and peers.
14th May- Today I presented my final photo’s to my teachers and peers. I received both praises and constructive criticism which will help me write up my overall evaluation. The comments that I had received today will help me for future projects.
20th May- Today I completed my evaluation for my FMP.
