This film shows the issues of race in college football with African American players in America in 1981. Sport in USA is often made up of African American players as the primary ethnicity in that said league. In society they’re often seen as being a minority throughout history even to this day.

This website talks about race and ethnicity in American sports. The article has a section for each major American sport including MLB,NBA,NHL and NFL. Above is some screenshots of the graphs that were on the website of the ethnicity of players in each sport league. I picked out the NBA and NFL graph to talk about as these stood out the most to me as obviously the NFL would be a no brainer to talk about but I could use the NBA graph to compare and debate against as well.

This website goes through every NFL team and tells us how they got their identity name annd colours etc. The article was written back in 2011 and is slightly outdated as teams like the Oakland raiders have now moved to Las Vegas but the detail provided in this article was very informative and We could not pass up on this.
