21st January 2019:
On this day we performed our pitches in front of the class. We introduced our idea to the teachers and class. We outlined our idea and presented in a simple way. Also our powerpoint was very clear and well organised.
However improvements could have been made to the pitch such as outlining what we were going to include in our video advert such as camera angles and shot types and a basic storyboard could of been presented as well.
Overall we were given positive feedback by the teacher but he did say that we could of gone into more detail when talking about the actual product such as the narrative and what we exactly wanted to do.
For the next 2 weeks, we need to begin production of the advert as we are almost done with the pre- production. So we need to make sure that all storyboards are complete so we are ready for production to begin.
To improve our presentation, I would have included some examples of our pre- production and research, such as our survey results and vox pops. This would have helped show the general reception to Facebook Workplace as a whole.
